Vitality Rehabilitation Group is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support clients recovering from injury and preparing to safely re-enter the workforce.

This role offers exceptional flexibility: you choose your hours, and you may work in our clinic or in the community, depending on the client’s needs.

Provide in-person sessions in our fully equipped therapy office, and complete assessments or follow-ups in the client’s home or workplace environment when needed. - Supportive Multidisciplinary Team
Collaborate with Psychotherapists, Kinesiologists, Social Workers, and other OTs working toward client recovery and return-to-function.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct Return-to-Work assessments, including functional evaluations and job demands analyses
- Develop individualized work hardening and work conditioning programs
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve:
- Strength
- Endurance
- Range of motion
- Task tolerance
- Cognitive/psychosocial readiness for work
- Prepare graded, progressive return-to-work plans tailored to job demands
- Communicate effectively with clients, insurers (e.g., WSIB), employers, and healthcare teams
- Provide in-office treatment or community-based visits depending on program needs
- Maintain detailed, compliant documentation in accordance with Ontario regulations
What We’re Looking For
- Registered and in good standing with COTO
- Experience or strong interest in:
- Return-to-work rehabilitation
- Work hardening/work conditioning
- Functional rehab
- Workplace ergonomics
- FCEs (an asset, not required)
- Excellent communication and clinical reasoning
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
