Lana joins our practice with her experience working with a variety of populations, including experience in hospital and community settings. She also has experience in hand therapy and acquired brain injuries. Lana believes in a holistic, client-centered approach that takes into consideration the physical, affective, cognitive and spiritual components of a person. She also believes in the importance of providing culturally competent care and is trained in three languages: English, French, and Arabic. Lana is working towards her certification in motivational interviewing and hand therapy. In her spare time, Lana enjoys staying active, trying new foods, and spending time with friends and family.

Chantal completes Psychosocial Assessments to develop client-centered treatment plans at our clinic. She also has experience in acute care, in-patient rehabilitation (i.e., acquired brain injury, orthopedic, respiratory & neuromuscular injuries) as well as addictions counselling. Leah has been a practicing Kinesiologist since 2009 in a variety of settings. She assesses and trains clients with various health conditions, such as traumatic brain injuries, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal injures. She assists them in achieving their functional goals and in promoting a return to an active daily lifestyle. She is both a certified functional capacity evaluator and a certified office ergonomics evaluator. She expands her knowledge with continued education, such as taking the R2P™ Management of Post-Concussion Syndrome course as well as several other educational updates over her years as a Kinesiologist including courses for MSK injuries and chronic pain. Leah also has experience working with different types of neuro technology such as the Portable Neuromodulation Stimulator (PoNS™), NeuroCatch, and BrainFX. Each client is unique, which is why she finds individualized exercise programs important to tailor to each client based on their goals. She is an advocate of Exercise is Medicine®. She finds pacing and breath work to be important components to build up function. Since she enjoys hiking, bicycling, and snowboarding, Leah wants to ensure her clients of various health conditions also enjoy the physical and mental health benefits of exercise therapy without getting injured and achieving their long-term goals.

Spencer’s passion for ergonomics led him to start his own ergonomic consulting company, and he is excited to use his experience to provide high quality care at Vitality Rehabilitation Group. Spencer has also provided athletic training for recreational and competitive sporting teams since 2013. Spencer loves learning about innovative strategies and technologies for improving mobility, such as exoskeletons, novel orthotics, and other assistive devices. Spencer provides kinesiology and occupational therapy assistance services in English and French. When he isn’t working, Spencer enjoys fencing, rollerblading, and playing strategy and puzzle games.
