Position Summary
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist Assessor to join our team. Whether you are experienced in one or several types of assessments, we encourage you to apply! We will tailor your caseload to align with your skills, strengths, and areas of interest.

As part of our team, you may be involved in conducting:

  • Safety Assessments
  • Ergonomic Assessments
  • Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE)
  • Functional Cognitive Capacity (FCC) Assessments
  • Mobility and Functional Ability Assessments
  • Attendant Care Assessments
  • Return-to-Work and Job Demands Analyses
  • Home and Vehicle Modification Assessments
  • Life Care Planning Assessments

Note: Experience in all types of assessments is not required. We are happy to support your growth in new areas through mentorship and training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed assessments and prepare clear, evidence-based reports.
  • Provide tailored recommendations to clients and collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Stay informed on best practices and maintain compliance with professional and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).
  • Proven experience in any of the listed assessments is an asset (experience in all assessments is not required).
  • ADP certification is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of Occupational Therapy principles and practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client and team collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
  • Empathy, patience, and a client-centered approach to care.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50.00-$80.00 per hour
